PROFILE

Founded in 1952, it is Okinawa's oldest Ryukyu glass studio. In postwar Okinawa, resources were scarce, and glass items were produced by crushing and melting discarded
empty cola and beer bottles from the US military bases. The shop has made a name for itself in history as the business that revived Okinawa's glass production. Currently,
they have a workshop in Makishi, Naha City.
